Yet another good article from the Times regarding empathy.
Don’t be careless. Add the following to named.conf:
// version statement for security to avoid
version “NOYB”;
// optional - disables all transfers -
// slaves (single host in this case) allowed in zone clauses
allow-transfer {none;}; or if you have to transfer use allow-transfer {W.X.Y.Z/32;};
// optional - disable all recursive queries
allow-recursion {none;};
recursion no;
Save and don’t forget to restart the service.
Locate exim.conf, the file is usually under /etc/exim.conf and add the following lines:
# turn off writing of logs to /var/spool/exim_incoming/msglog/
no_message_logs
Save the file and restart the service.
At the age of 27 I have a lot of gray. It makes me look old but that doesn’t phase me as much. Read more about premature graying here. I do like the comments below:
“Gray hair is a crown of glory,” one proverb states. “It is gained in a righteous life.”
I agree… my life has been righteous so far…
If I were a Jedi knight, I would have turned to the dark side as a Sith lord because of news like this. There is a part of me that believes the theological values of Christianity:
“But only at the Creation Museum in Kentucky do the dinosaurs sail on the ship — Noah’s Ark, to be precise.”
What the?!
Always wear protection, otherwise you may end up with a bleeding leg. Special thanks to John for providing tips on the downhill.
The article was emailed to me, which I happen to find interesting: this is my life (and how I tell it).
I know a thing or two about BPD so I found this article amusing. There’s nothing cute about BPD so I present cute overload.
How to analyze a crash dump file in Windows:

I see the lack of morale nearly everywhere that I go. In fact I saw this with someone when she would fume about how inept the leadership at her place of work was. In all fairness, she was somewhat of a b**** so I’m not sure how much of what she said was true. Moving on… I seem to have developed a bad case of Monday’s because of my current work schedule.

So I thought to myself, if a company wants to keep employees from leaving the company for other competitors, they should do it the American way, not the Communist way! I.E., by competing for their “business” by creating a nice place to work; not by being lazy and attempting to create red tapes or threaten them with backwards policies that make the place of work intolerable.
Eleanor Roosevelt: “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.”
This post is the precursor of something else…

trust and character is what everyone needs. Who you actually choose to be around will let you know what you’re made of and who you are…
okay back to the movie… hah!
RackSpace has a marketing scheme called “Fanatical Support”. You can read more about it here: http://www.rackspace.com/support/ the irony of the story is that they had employed someone that was literally ”fanatical” with support: http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/txn/PressRel06/georgelas_john_sen_pr.html
So you want to know why your web hosting company doesn’t provide phone support. Many companies (including web.com) are now telling customers to email for support. Here is my take on the issue: technical support is not well-suited to the telephone. Continue reading »
